Welcome to Women of the Chapel
The Women of the Chapel ministry comprises all women who attend The Village Chapel. Annual events and special events are organized by a dedicated Steering Committee who meet monthly* and oversee a variety of sub-committees – all dedicated to furthering our mission statement… for women to drawer closer to God and foster spiritual growth. We encourage you to bring friends, neighbors and guests to join in our journey of
faith and fellowship for all interests and ages in keeping with tradition of WOC and honoring our mission statement through fellowship and supporting one another. The goal is for the women of our beloved church family to always know they are an important part our women of the chapel and welcome to participate in whatever capacity comfortable.

To teach & encourage women to draw closer to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We offer programs, outreach opportunities and fellowship that fosters spiritual growth.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Women of the Chapel Steering Committee
We will hold our next monthly Steering Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the Care Cottage. All women who attend our chapel or those who are interested in learning more about our ministry are encouraged to join us. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other women and help plan our yearly activities including Bible Studies, Retreats, Open Houses, Spring Tea, Christmas Brunch and much more. Cross Ties Luncheons
Cross Ties Luncheon will be held Tuesday, November 12, at 11:30 a.m. at The Pine Crest Inn. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by noon on Friday, October 4, by contacting Jan Cooke at 910-280-0602 or email Jan HERE or by text only to Rene White at 910-315-1799. No response is needed by those who have planned to attend monthly, unless unable to attend. Cancellations must be received by noon on Friday, November 8, to avoid being responsible for the cost.
Faith & Fellowship Walk
Faith & Fellowship Walk Saturday, November 2. We meet at 9:00 a.m. outside Heritage Hall rain or shine! Walk at your own pace along the lovely walking path behind our chapel. Children and leashed pets are welcome! If you have questions, contact Lyla Elliott or Renee Cassidy.

an inspirational message by Guest Speaker & HappyLife Leader- Linda Berry
Linda will be celebrating the Joy of Jesus in what she has entitled the PROMISE OF JOY. She is known for her enthusiasm and positive attitude and living on the bright side of God’s Happiness plan for her life. In addition to be an experienced author, speaker and HappyLife Leader trainer, Linda has served for four years as the personal travel assistant to Ms. Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of Rev and Mrs. Billy Graham, President and Founder of Angel Ministries, Raleigh, North Carolina. She is visiting us from Alabama.
Cathy, a member of our Chapel community, studied conducting and composition of music at Julliard School of Music and is a teacher, composer, pianist and singer. She has shared her many gifts and talents by performing for our military at an Inaugural Ball at Capitol Hill, our Women Veterans on Capitol Hill in CT and in addition the Hotel New York, the Pierre, Hyatt Regency, Fairmont Copley Plaza, Saint Regis Atlanta and Ritz Carlton. Composing over 50 plus pieces of music Cathy has donated many of her pieces to charities throughout the world.
