The Women of the Chapel ministry comprises all women who attend The Village Chapel. Annual events and special events are organized by a dedicated Steering Committee who meet monthly* and oversee a variety of sub-committees – all dedicated to furthering our mission statement… for women to drawer closer to God and foster spiritual growth. We encourage you to bring friends, neighbors and guests to join in our journey of
faith and fellowship for all interests and ages in keeping with tradition of WOC and honoring our mission statement through fellowship and supporting one another. The goal is for the women of our beloved church family to always know they are an important part our women of the chapel and welcome to participate in whatever capacity comfortable.
Our Mission Statement:
To teach & encourage women to draw closer to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We offer programs, outreach opportunities and fellowship that fosters spiritual growth.

Next meeting is on Tuesday, May 14, 9:30 a.m. at the Care Cottage, 55 Community Rd. Pinehurst.
Cross Ties Luncheons
The next gathering will be held on Tuesday, May 14 , 11:45 a.m. at the Pinecrest Inn. The Cross Ties group brings together women who participate in the three worship services so that they can get to know each other, pray together, and feel more deeply connected to the church “family.” All Women of the Chapel are invited and encouraged to attend. Ladies can make reservations by contacting Janice Bezanson or call 909-229-3028 or Michele Miller or call 804-647-5683. Reservations and cancellations must be received by May 10. Cancellations after the deadline or no shows will be responsible for the payment of $20 to the church.
Used Book & Bake Sale
WOC will be sponsoring this event to support Changing Destinies Ministries Saturday, May 4, 2024, in the Chapel Hall* Please stop by to check out the yummy baked goods and books. Bible Studies
Women’s Bible Study
The next Women’s Bible Study will begin on Monday, April 22, at 9:30 a.m. at the Care Cottage. We will be studying Psalms. This is a 7-week session and will end June 3. We will be using the study book As For Me by Adrienne Camp. To sign up for the study contact Janice Bezanson or call 909 229-3028. Christ in Genesis
“Christ in Genesis” A women’s Bible study which will explore the relationship between the Old and New Testaments. Our next meetings will be April 24 and May 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We meet in the Youth classroom of Heritage Hall. We use the Bible and Katherine Caldwell’s commentary study entitled Christ in Genesis, Vol. 1. Sign up- Mary Wood or 412.592.4353
