Chapel Servant Opportunities

Each member is a blessing to The Village Chapel and we want to help you find the place where God will best utilize your unique skills, talents and gifts. If you would like to serve in one of these ministries, please select from the opportunitites listed below. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Altar Guild Volunteers Needed

The Altar Guild is seeking assistants to prepare Communion for the 8:00 a.m. worship service. The time commitment is minimal, the tasks are very easy to learn, and we have a great support team. We would love to have you join us! Please contact Donna Brundage with interest or questions.

Children and Youth Sunday School

Sunday School Teachers: teachers are needed for PreK/Kindergarten, 1st/2nd Grade, and 3-5th Grade. Sunday School lesson books are provided, and teachers are asked to commit to teaching once per month.

Sunday School Assistants: assistants help our teachers in the classrooms. Responsibilities include helping students with crafts/bible sheets, keeping students focused while the teacher is teaching, and being the teacher’s extra set of hands. As our Sunday School attendance continues to grow, our teachers must have adequate support to offer our best to the Lord and His children.

Care of Congregation Committee Needs Volunteers

The Care of the Congregation Committee needs volunteers who can write cards to our shut-ins, widows, and infirmed, and make periodic phone calls to the same population. If interested, please contact Pastor Ashley at (910) 992-8308.
