Chapel Servant Opportunities

Each member is a blessing to The Village Chapel and we want to help you find the place where God will best utilize your unique skills, talents and gifts. If you would like to serve in one of these ministries, please select from the opportunitites listed below. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Children and Youth Sunday School

We are in need of Sunday School assistants to help our teachers in the classrooms. The main responsibilities would include: helping students with crafts/bible sheets, keeping students focused while teacher is teaching and being an extra set of hands to the teacher. This could be a monthly rotation or bi-weekly. As our Sunday School attendance continues to grow it is important that our teachers have adequate support in order to offer our best to the Lord and His children.
We are in need of 3 Sunday school teachers: Prek/Kindergarten, 1st/2nd Grade, and 3-5th Grade. Teaching is only once a month. A Sunday school book with all lessons is provided. Please consider helping us in the discipleship of our children.

Care of Congregation Committee needs volunteers who can write cards to our shut-ins, widows, and infirmed, and volunteers to make periodic phone calls to the same population.
