The Village Chapel offers several opportunities for ongoing Adult Christian Education.
Strengthen your faith journey with classes, lectures, fellowship opportunities, and bible studies. Congregation members have many options to further their Christian education. Seminary Lecture Series
Led by Pastor Ashley, class will meet in the back room of Chapel Hall on Wednesday, October 28, at 4:30 p.m. Dr. Phillip Cary, PhD’s DVD lecture entitled Varieties of Early Christianity will be followed by discussion. There is no cost or registration required, and all are welcome!

Community Men's Bible Study
Class will meet on Thursday, October 29, at 4:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. Daniel Cannon and Pastor Greg will lead us in the study of the Epistle to the Romans. We will use John MacArthur’s study guide for Epistle to the Romans, which you can purchase from the TVC Amazon storefront.
The Al Mangum 10:45 Adult Sunday School Class

WOC Bible Study
Class meets on Monday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m. in the back room of Chapel Hall. We will study God Won’t Leave You There: Joseph’s Story by Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright, a story of incredible faith and patient perseverance in the face of devastating trials. Practicing the Way (SoS)
Practicing the Way-Sandhills on Sunday has a new schedule! Join us on Saturday, October 24, at 5:00 p.m. as we begin our next practice in the series, Prayer. Series will continue on Saturday, November 7, November 21, and December 5.
Letting go of old habits and replacing them with those of Jesus is a transformative spiritual journey that is best done in community. Our first lesson, Talking TO God will be followed by time around the table at the home of Mike and Julie Poplin. 9:30 Adult Sunday School Class
Class meets on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. We are studying Stringing Pearls, a study on discipleship. Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for fine pearls and that disciples find these pearls [Matthew 13:45, 52]. Defending Your Faith
Join us for this exciting class dealing with the complex interaction between faith, culture, and truth. Each session tackles subjects that Christians face in everyday life and helps provide answers in a chaotic world. The next meeting is on Sunday, November 1, at 5:00 p.m. in Heritage Hall.

Practicing the Way
A curriculum for “Christlikeness” that help us better understand and live more like Jesus. Our next study will be The Prayer Practice. We will learn more about four aspects of prayer: Talking to God, Talking with God, Listening to God, and Being with God. We will meet on Tuesday, November 3, at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Room, then every other week through December 1.

Thursday Faith and Fellowship Bible Study Class
Class meets on Thursday, October 29, at 2:30 p.m. in the choir room. We will continue our study of Isaiah, using God Saves Sinners by Ray Ortlund as our guide. Conversations of Faith & Theology
Class meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. The next meeting will be on Friday, November 6, at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. Each class is shaped by the questions and conversations of those present, offering a Spirit-led space for deeper understanding, fellowship, and growth in Christ.
