Practicing the Way (SoS)

Do you find yourself with too much to do and not enough time with which to do it? This summer, we invite you to join our Practicing the Way-Sandhills on Sunday group as we study John Mark Comer’s inspirational book, The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. Even in today’s digitally distracted pace, we can “choose” to take up Jesus’s easy yoke. This book is meant to help you do just that. We meet the first and third Sundays of each month at 5:00 in the Conference Room.  Contact Julie Poplin for more information.

Practicing the Way

Practicing the Way is a ministry of discipleship to Jesus, guiding us toward being formed into the people He created us to become. We focus on ancient disciplines which Jesus himself practiced and taught his disciples to follow. We will continue the “Witness” practice (“A community of hospitality in a culture of hostility”) on June 2nd and June 16th in Chapel Hall at 4:30 p.m. All are welcome. Please email Bonnie Jo Wurzbacher for more information.

9:30 Adult Sunday School Class

Is taking a break for the summer and will return this fall on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. Contact Jan & Gary Mullis for more information.

The Truth Project

There is a battle in the world today for truth…how to define it and arguments about whether truth even exists. Join Pastor Trey and Ken Dickson as they lead this exciting study. They use a curriculum from Focus On The Family to discover the truth, which is found only in God. The class meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 5:00 p.m. in Chapel Hall. If you would like more information, please contact Pastor Trey.

Thursday Faith and Fellowship Bible Study Class

The class is currently taking a break for the summer and will return to the book of Isaiah on Thursday, September 10. Please contact Stan Bradshaw with any questions.

Tables of Eight

Members of the Tables of Eight groups come together to share a meal, to share in fellowship, and to create a community of faith with Christ in the center. Prayerfully consider this program to get to know others and to share in our Family of God here at The Village Chapel. Your Table is Waiting.
