Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge is a faith-centered recovery program for those struggling with life-controlling addiction. Volunteer – Adult & Teen Challenge Sandhills; Website: https://sandhillstc.org/volunteer/
Mission: To inspire, enable, and educate young people from all backgrounds and circumstances to realize their full potential as responsible, productive, and caring citizens. Opportunities include Power Hour (homework help), reading support, STEM activities, Chef’s Club, Coach’s Challenge, Guitar Program, and many more. Volunteers needed in These Key Areas: Shelter Support: Work directly with women survivors—offering guidance, compassion, and practical support as they heal and rebuild their lives. CDM Committees: Join one of our committees to help with event planning, fundraising, and raising awareness. Mission: To provide shelter, food, and opportunity to help families experiencing homelessness or financial insecurity achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Volunteer to provide/serve meals or help school children with homework evenings.
Recent Highlights from a Mission TVC Supports: Adult & Teen Challenge Sandhills
Adult & Teen Challenge is a faith-centered recovery program for those struggling with life-controlling addiction. They offer long-term residential recovery programs for men, regional support groups, and the nation’s first Military Specialization Program for Veterans and active-duty troops.
An Evening of Grace, Stories, and Second Chances: Adult & Teen Challenge would like to thank you for making the gala a success! The moving message from Beverly Aikins and testimonies from students made the evening unforgettable. They are thrilled to share that they raised nearly $500,000. From Kiev to Cambodia – Hope Without Borders: The mission of Teen Challenge does not stop at our county line — or our coastline. This month, Russ Cambria, CEO/President, led an international training session for Teen Challenge Ukraine in Kyiv, where 36 leaders from across the country gathered for instruction and practical training on the Global Teen Challenge curriculum and accreditation process. Later, former graduates and members of the Adult & Teen Challenge Sandhills team were on the ground in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, helping to build a new center that will one day welcome women seeking freedom from addiction. For the graduates, this was a sacred opportunity to step beyond their own stories and give back — investing the same hope they once received into people halfway around the world who need it just as desperately.
