Men’s Ministry

The Village Chapel’s Men’s Ministry is growing. Co-chairs Doug Sherwood and Rich Cowell, along with Pastor Ashley, have taken on the task of making the Men’s Ministry a success not only here at The Village Chapel, but also in our Community. One of our major ministries is to increase awareness throughout Moore County of Human Trafficking.

We are seeking leaders to direct this humble group of men in exploring topics of current interest, as well as studies of new and significant spiritual texts. Many opportunities to share in fellowship, prayer and study are expected throughout the year.

If you are interested in lending your abilities to the Men’s Ministry, please contact the office.

Men’s Ministry Objectives
To Achieve The Village Chapel Mission:
“As an interdenominational Christian community, We worship God in spirit
and truth, Teach and encourage the Christian faith, Support the spiritual needs of our congregation, and Reach out to others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

I. To increase the Men’s Ministry membership from The Village Chapel
Congregation. ( Support the spiritual needs of our congregation)

II. To “Pass the Baton” for Men’s Ministry Leadership Positions to younger
men in the Congregation. (Support the spiritual needs of our
congregation) (Teach and encourage the Christian faith)

III. To Emphasize “Family Participation” when planning Men’s Ministry

IV. To encourage Members of the Men’s Ministry to set an example for all
Congregation Members by attending as many Village Chapel Functions as
possible, such as Music Performances, Break Nights, etc. This will also
act as encouragement to those Village Chapel Members that plan and
make the presentations for these events, especially after the tremendous
effort they put into preparation for same. (Reach out to others with the
Gospel of Jesus Christ) (Teach and encourage the Christian faith) (Support
the spiritual needs of our congregation)
