Seminary Lecture Series Join Pastor Ashley as he explores important developments in Christian theology from the Early Church to Vatican II. Defending Your Faith is an exciting class dealing with the complex interaction between faith, culture, and truth. Each session, Pastor Trey tackles subjects that Christians face in everyday life and helps provide answers in a chaotic world. Seeking Ushers for 11:00 a.m. Service
Ushers greet church members and guests, distribute service bulletins, escort visitors to their pews, and provide any assistance the congregation may need. Requirements include: 1-1.5 hours every month, arrive at TVC no later than 10:30 a.m., and dress in a blue or black sport coat, shirt, and tie with grey pants. Free One-Time GriefShare Program Available – Surviving the Holidays
Surviving the Holidays is a free, one-time GriefShare program meeting on Saturday, October 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Pinehurst United Methodist Church. The session includes a video, discussion and workbook to help participants deal with emotions and provide helpful tips for surviving social events, handling customs, and how to find hope for the future.
