As previously announced, our “Building Lifelong Disciples” campaign has reached our goal of securing over $1,388,000 in funding to complete The Upper Room of Heritage Hall for our Youth and to repair and renovate our Care Cottage for our Adult gatherings. We are so grateful for the almost 200 donors whose generosity made this possible (in just over 100 days)! Thank you!
We will continue to accept contributions to the Campaign, from those who may feel led to participate, to establish a contingency against rising costs or unforeseen circumstances. Any excess funds at the end of the project will be donated to our Village Chapel Foundation. We would also urge those who have pledged, but not yet fulfilled their commitment, to do so when they are able to. This will provide adequate cash flow to stay current with our contractor obligations.
The Committees will keep us all posted as contractor selection and construction progress. We are excited about the wonderful and inviting venues these spaces will become for Spiritual Formation and Discipleship to flourish in community at The Village Chapel.
