Dear Members and Friends of The Village Chapel,
It may be October, but The Village Chapel is gearing up for the Christmas Angel Tree Program.
Once again, we will be participating with the Coalition in “A Coalition Christmas.” We trust you will join us in this important opportunity to share God’s love with our neighbors in need of your support. We are grateful for the support you have shown in the past. In 2025, we sponsored 180 individuals. As you know times are hard and many are financially struggling to put food on the table, let alone think about buying Christmas gifts. We are hoping you will consider partnering with us to make this holiday special for so many.
Our goal this year is to sponsor seniors over 65 and children under the age of 17, with a minimum spending limit of $50-$75 per person. In addition, a food card will be provided to the adults. Family sponsorship information will be available in early November.
We hope you will accept one or more of these ways below to help:
- Sponsor children/senior by one of the following:
- Fill out the accompanying form and return it to the church office.
- Contact Faith Clay at (248) 765-7213 or by email at faithclay@icloud.com with your sponsorship requests.
- Sign up on our website, www.tvcpinehurst.com
If you prefer to support Angel Tree financially, these funds will be used for food vouchers, Bibles, and to purchase gifts for individuals not selected for sponsorship. Checks should be made payable to The Village Chapel with “Angel Tree Program” on the memo line. These checks can be placed in the offering plate each Sunday or brought to the Chapel office during the week. Online donations can also be made online via the “Giving” tab on our website. Please select Angel Tree from the drop-down menu.
Volunteers will be needed to assist with shopping, wrapping ( 12/7-8) and on distribution day December 12th. Please contact us with any questions or to volunteer. We love and need volunteers!
For your convenience, gift drop off day will be Sunday, December 6th after all services 9:00am – 12:00pm in Chapel Hall.
