Tax Dedctible Donation Info
Our capital campaign to raise the necessary funds to complete these projects kicked off on November 23rd. We are requesting donations and pledges through calendar year 2027.
Some members of our congregation may want to consider making a gift before the end of 2025 for tax planning purposes. For those that itemize, the “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBB) passed in July, provides a new deduction floor for 2026, such that only charitable contributions that exceed 0.5% of adjusted gross income (AGI) will be deductible.
Additionally, taxpayers in the 37 percent tax bracket will see their charitable contributions capped at 35% next year. As a result, some may wish to accelerate their giving in 2025 to take advantage of more favorable deduction rates.
This is provided for information purposes only and should not be considered tax advice. We urge everyone to consult with their own legal counsel, tax advisors or financial professionals before making any decisions related to charitable giving or tax planning.
We sincerely hope that you will join us on this important journey by contributing generously to this campaign. Please consider making your gift before the end of 2025.
There are many ways to give a gift. For more information, visit the Church’s website https://tvcpinehurst.com/building-lifelong-disciples/ or the Realm app. Pledge cards are also available in the Narthex, the Administration Building and at The Care Cottage.
Please feel free to reach out to any member of the Capital Campaign Committee, or to our Pastors, if we can provide additional information.
Thank you.
