Weekly Lenten Fast
One of the most significant ancient practices of the early church, fasting is an effective way to strengthen our relationship with God.  We invite you to join us in our community-wide fast on each Wednesday during this Lenten Season at the Village Chapel. If you would like to go deeper into the Practice of Fasting, sessions will be ongoing in our regularly scheduled Practicing the Way classes on the first and third Sundays, beginning 3/1, at 5 pm in the Conference Room, or first and third Tuesdays, beginning 3/3, at 4:30 in the Care Cottage. Join Us for a Healing Service
On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 5 PM  a Healing Service will be held in the Sanctuary.   The service is open to everyone for healing for themselves and loved ones. Who are the Graduation Guardian Angels?

The Village Chapel family are the Graduation Guardian Angels! This all started in 2018 when a few members of Men of the Chapel, Ministry (MOCM) discussed, “what if we could raise enough money to give each of these unaccompanied / homeless youth / youth in dire need a scholarship” to start their career in college, community college, trades school. So, they scratched out some steps on a napkin and it was born at the Village Chapel. (Read More)

Adult Christian Education Classes

Seminary Lecture Series Join Pastor Ashley as he explores the History of Christianity. The class begins with a 30-minute video lecture by Professor Luke Timothy Johnson, Ph.D., followed by a 30-minute discussion of the subject matter. The class meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The next lecture is Wednesday, March 25, at the Care Cottage (55 Community Rd-Pinehurst), and is entitled: “Corruption and the Beginnings of Reform” There is no cost or registration required, and all are welcome!

 Defending Your Faith Join Pastor Trey and Ken Dickson as they lead an exciting study titled “The Truth Project.” There is a battle in the world today for truth…how to define it and arguments about whether truth even exists. Please join us as we use an excited curriculum from Focus On The Family to discover the truth, which is found only in God. Conversations of Faith & Theologyis a new Bible study led by Greg Wetzelberger, meets every other Friday, from 5:00–6:00 PM at the Care Cottage (55 Community Rd, Pinehurst). The next meeting is Friday, March 20. What questions about Christianity have you always wanted to ask? Unlike traditional studies, each class is shaped by the questions and conversations of those present, offering a Spirit-led space for deeper understanding, fellowship, and growth in Christ.

Faith & Dispensationalism – Israel and the Church: Who are God’s chosen people today? Daniel Cannon will lead a four-week class on the history and theology of dispensationalism from the perspective of Christian orthodoxy.
