The Village Chapel offers several opportunities for ongoing Adult Christian Education.
Strengthen your faith journey with classes, lectures, fellowship opportunities, and bible studies. Congregation members have many options to further their Christian education. Classes and Studies
Seminary Lecture Series
Seminary Lecture Series is led by Pastor Ashley and will meet in the back room of Chapel Hall on Wednesday, August 26, at 4:30 p.m. Dr. Phillip Cary, PhD’s DVD lecture entitled The Synoptic Gospels will be followed by discussion. There is no cost or registration required, and all are welcome!

Community Men's Bible Study

The Al Mangum 10:45 Adult Sunday School Class
Join us on Sundays at 10:45 a.m. in Chapel Hall for this adult Sunday School class. We will begin a study of Proverbs this week. Please contact Daniel Cannon at (304) 890-1188 or Greg Wetzelberger at 850-549-7806 with questions on the class or for information on how you can get involved.
WOC Bible Study
Classes will resume on Monday, September 14, at 10:00 a.m. with a study of God Won’t Leave You There: Joseph’s Story by Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright. This is an 8-week study about incredible faith and patient perseverance in the face of devastating trials. The study has video access and will be facilitated by Christy Forrest. Practicing the Way (SoS)
The Practicing the Way-Sandhills on Sunday will begin the practice of Sabbath on Sunday, August 16, at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. We invite folks to come and join us on the first and third Sunday of the month, as we learn more about the need to keep the Sabbath holy, especially in these hurried/hectic times.

The Truth Project
There is a battle in the world today for truth…how to define it and arguments about whether truth even exists. Join Pastor Trey and Ken Dickson as they lead this exciting study. Please join us this Sunday, August 9, in the back room of Chapel Hall as we use a curriculum from Focus On The Family to discover the truth, which is found only in God.

Practicing the Way
Sabbath is a full day set aside to stop, rest, delight and worship, as we celebrate our life with God in his world. It’s the best day of the week and a holy day, dedicated to God and designed to be done in community. Join us as we learn to recapture this ancient practice and how to apply it to our modern-day lives. The next class will meet on Tuesday, August 18, from 4:30-5:45 p.m. in the Conference Room.

Conversations of Faith & Theology
Will meet on Friday, August 7, at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. Each class is shaped by the questions and conversations of those present, offering a Spirit-led space for deeper understanding, fellowship, and growth in Christ.
